Russia’s car production has increased by 14.3% in January

RusAutoNews.Com – According to Russian Statistical Institute data, 127,000 automobiles have been manufactured in the country in January. This figure corresponds to a 14.3% increase, in comparison with the same period of the previous year.

Also within January, AvtoVAZ has started the production of new generation Lada Kalina in Togliatti and Sollers-Busan partnership began manufacturing Toyota Land Cruiser Prado in Vladivostok.

The truck production in Russia has remained at 7600 in January, declining by 11.2% in comparison with the same period of the previous year. As another significant development which took place in Russian truck industry during the month: Avtotor has started manufacturing Hyundai HD-170 in Kaliningrad.

The bus production in the country has declined by 14.4% by the end of the first month of 2013, in comparison with the same period of the previous year. Approximately 2000 buses have been manufactured in total.
