The Russian sales of Nokian Tyres have fallen by 31.4% during the first half of the year

Autostat – The sales of the Finnish tyre manufacturer: Nokian Tyres have shrunk by 31.4% in Russia during the first six months of 2014, in comparison with the previous year. The company has made €230.9 million worth of sales during the aforementioned period.

In the company statement, the depreciation of ruble against euro and the increasing share of medium price segment in winter tyres market have been shown as the reasons behind the decline in sales.

13 production lines operate in Nokian Tyres Vsevolozhsk factory. The annual production capacity of the factory is over 15 million tyres.
