St. Petersburg automobile market has returned to 2010 levels

RusAutoNews.Com – According to Auto-Dealer-SPb data, 108,556 new cars and light commercial vehicles have been sold in St. Petersburg within the first seven months of 2014 (-5%). As one may remember, the Russian vehicle market had shrunk by 10% during the first seven months of the year. 14,006 vehicles have been sold in the city in July (-19%). Thereby, the city market has returned to 2010 levels, with a monthly sales figure of 13-14,000.

Only four out of thirty most popular models achieved to increase their sales in July: KIA, Mercedes-Benz, Lexus and Mercedes-Benz Van.

As of the first seven months of the year, the share of St. Petersburg in Russian market is 7.7%.
