Russian LCV market has shrunk by 28% in July

Avtostat – Light commercial vehicle sales have dropped by 28% in Russia in July, with 10,800 vehicles. Such a sharp decline in the LCV market of the country was observed during the post-crisis year of 2009 for the last time.

78,600 light commercial vehicles have been sold within the first seven months of the year (-16%). 67.5% of this figure belongs to Russian brands.

GAZ has become the market leader in July with 5500 vehicles (-24%). UAZ occupies the second place with a sales figure of 1200 vehicles (-43%). Another Russian brand: Lada is ranked third, with 850 Largus and VIS sales in July (-6%). Ford has become the best selling foreign brand with 620 vehicles (-50%). The fifth place belongs to Mercedes-Benz with 600 vehicles (+46%).
