Approximately 100,000 vehicles have been sold within the frame of the utilisation programme

AutoBusiness Review – Russian Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced that 98,300 vehicles have been sold within the frame of the utilisation programme, since 01 September. Last week’s sales figure is 18,000 vehicles, on the other hand.

Minister Denis Manturov has made the following statement: “The number of sales points participating in the programme has exceeded 2500, following a 50% increase in October. The number of manufacturers has also risen. Isuzu has become the latest participating manufacturer. The companies, which took a “wait and see” position in the beginning, have decided to participate, seeing the positive results at the end of the first month.”

According to ministry data, 40% of the sold vehicles are formed of AVTOVAZ models. KIA and Renault are the two other brands with sales figures of over 2500 vehicles, during the last week of the programme.
