Automobile imports fell by 45% in Russia in January-February

RusAutoNews.Com – According to Federal Customs Service (FTS) data, Russia’s new automobile imports have declined by 45% year-on-year, by the end of the first two months of the year. 56,000 vehicles have been imported. The monetary value of the aforementioned imports is $773.5 million (-59%).

The number of automobiles exported by Russia has also declined by 27% year-on-year during the January-February period, with 11,500. These exports are worth $115 million in monetary terms (-43%).
