Automobile imports to Russia continue falling in all segments

Autostat – According to Autostat data, the car, LCV, truck and bus imports to Russia have fallen by 45.4%, 72%, 75% and 80.8% respectively, year-on-year, during the first quarter of the year.

38,800 automobiles have been imported in March. The import figure for the first quarter is 87,300. While 1500 light commercial vehicles have been imported in March, the first quarterly figure reached 3700. The number of trucks imported to the country in March is around 400. 1900 trucks have been imported during the first quarter. In the bus segment, where the sharpest decline has been observed, only 50 vehicles were imported.
