LCV sales have shrunk by 33% in Russia in May

Autostat – According to Autostat data, 6977 new light commercial vehicles have been sold in Russia in May (-32.8%). Thereby, the number of light commercial vehicles sold within the first five month of the year has reached 34,025 (-37.4%). GAZ has maintained its position as the leader of the market in May as well, with 13,588 vehicles (-38%). Mercedes has become the best selling foreign brand, with 3158 vehicles (+9.5%).

Trucks and microbuses lighter than 3.5 tonnes, used in freight and passenger transport, are classified as light commercial vehicles in Russia.
