RusAutoNews.Com – Vsevolozhsk based Ford Sollers factory has started the serial production of the new Focus model today. The press office of the company has stated that 1.5 lt engines from EcoBoost family are being used in the model. A series of renovations have been made in the model, taking the road and climate conditions of Russia into consideration.

Ford Vsevolozhsk factory was established in 2002. Over $400 million has been invested in the factory since its opening. Approximately 1500 people are employed in the facility, which has an annual production capacity of 160,000 automobiles. Focus and Mondeo sedan models are currently being manufactured at the factory.
