KAMAZ electric buses will be sent to Moscow for test operations

Autostat – KAMAZ and Mostransavto have signed an agreement on the transfer of KAMAZ-6282 large-class passenger buses for trial operations. As one may remember, this will not be the first test conducted on the KAMAZ electric buses by the transport operator; Mostransavto has already used the vehicle for trial operations in May. As a result, a decision has been taken to put the second generation of electric buses with a new interior into test. The electric bus will carry the Muscovites along the “Slaviansky Boulevard – innovation city Skolkovo” route for the duration of the month, as stated by KAMAZ press office.

As noted, the use of electric buses can increase the environmental safety of the urban areas and the comfort of travel, since this type of transport is free of harmful emissions to the environment and creates a minimum level of noise.

As published by Autostat previously, the second generation KAMAZ electric buses (KAMAZ-6282) with a new interior had been launched at the Bus World Russia-2016 Exhibition held in Moscow.
