Volkswagen sales up by 18% in February

RusAutoNews.Com – Volkswagen sales have increased in February 2017. Volkswagen Group Rus has published its February 2017 sales figures. 6361 clients have preferred VW automobiles during the month, increasing the sales of the brand by 18% year-on-year (from 5399 units).

The company has sold 403 VW Touareg, which indicates an increase of 20% (up from 337 in February 2016).

The demand for VW Tiguan has doubled in February. 1741 Kaluga-made first and second generation Tiguan have been sold within the month (792 in February 2016).

Another model manufactured in Kaluga: VW Polo was also amongst the brand’s bestsellers in February, with 3577 vehicles.

489 VW Jetta, manufactured in Nizhni-Novgorod, have been sold during the previous month, on the other hand.

Volkswagen sales have risen by 11% since the turn of the year, to 10,942 vehicles (January-February 2016 – 9854).
