Russian LCV market has grown by 41% in March

Autostat – According to Autostat analytical agency, the Russian new light commercial vehicle (LCV) market has amounted to 9900 units in March, which is equivalent to a 41% year-on-year growth.

GAZ has kept its traditional leadership of the market, with approximately 40% share during the first month of spring. GAZ has sold 3900 units, exceeding last year’s figure by a quarter. Another home brand UAZ occupies the second place, with a sales figure of around 2700 units (+77%). LADA completes the top-three (944, +85%). Mercedes-Benz (903, +62.4%) and Ford (541, +98.2%) have also made it into the top-five.

It should be noted that the Russian new LCV market has reached 23,200 units within the first quarter of the year, following a 32% year-on-year growth.
