KAMAZ has revised its truck sales forecast for 2017 to 38-39,000 units

RNS – KAMAZ has increased its truck sales forecast for 2017 from 36,000 to 38-39,000 units, in comparison with the previous prediction of the company. The relevant statement has been made by KAMAZ general director Sergei Kogogin to journalists. 

“Our assessment was that the market will reach 45,000 units (heavy trucks – RNS). However, it’s already clear that this amount will be exceeded. The anticipation is between 48-55,000 units. The main growth will be observed in the premium segment. We have now begun a revision (of KAMAZ sales forecast – RNS). The prediction has been changed to 38-39,000 units, instead of 36,000” – he said. 

KAMAZ sales have risen by 21% in 2016 to 34,500 trucks, as stated by the company. The sales were up by 25% in the domestic market, reaching 28,300 units.
