Car production has increased by 21% in Russia within the January-April 2017 period

ASM Holding – According to ASM Holding data, 472,141 transport vehicles (trucks, cars, buses) have been manufactured in Russia within the January-April 2017 period, which is equivalent to a 20.7% year-on-year rise.

Car production has increased by 21.4% during the aforementioned period y/y, with 418,800 units. The production share of foreign brand cars in Russia went up to 75.1% by the end of the first months, from 73.7% during the same period of the previous year.

LCV production has also grown in the same period, by 8.2% to 34,000 units.

Truck production, including light trucks, has risen by 14.7% by the end of the first four months of 2017, amounting to 42,500 units.

Bus production, including microbuses, has increased by 16.5% during the aforementioned period, with 10,900 units.
