The sales of Chinese automobiles up by 11% in Russia in June 2017

Autostat – According to the AEB data, the number of Chinese cars sold in Russia has increased by 11% year-on-year in June 2017, with 2651 vehicles.

Lifan has once more become the leading Chinese brand in Russian market with 1321 vehicles (+1% y/y). Chery is the second most popular Chinese brand, performing 36% increase y/y with 605 vehicles. Haval has the third place with 182 units and Geely the fourth with 181 units.

The sales figures of the remaining Chinese brands in June: Zotye (108 units; +414%), Changan (88 units; +267%), DFM (50 units;-47%), FAW (50 units;-21%), Foton (36 units; +300%),  Brilliance (16 units;-79%), BAW (14 units; +17%).

In the first half of 2017, the number of Chinese cars sold in Russia has declined by 13% year-on-year with 13,824 vehicles.
