Russian LCV market has grown by 9% in July 2017

Autostat – According to Autostat data, the Russian new light commercial vehicle (LCV) market has amounted to 8200 units in July, following an 8.8% year-on-year growth.

The traditional leader of the market GAZ has kept its position, with approximately 46% share in total. GAZ has sold 3780 vehicles, which is equivalent to a 0.3% year-on-year rise.

UAZ occupies the second place, reaching a sales figure of 1315 units (-1.9% y/y). As previously, the top-three is completed by LADA (819 units, +34,0% y/y). Ford (687, +117,4% y/y) and Mercedes-Benz (543, +0,4% y/y) came fourth and fifth respectively.

The Russian new LCV market has reached 58,410 units by the end of the first seven months of the year, indicating a 22,4% year-on-year increase.
