Vehicle production has increased by 19% in Russia within the January-July 2017 period

RusAutoNews.Com – According to ASM Holding data, 834.713  transport vehicles (passenger cars, commercial vehicles, buses) have been manufactured in Russia within the January-July 2017 period, which is equivalent to a 18,8% year-on-year rise.

Car production has increased by 19,9% during the aforementioned period, with 763,1 thousand units. The production of foreign brand cars in Russia went up by 21,8% to 549,0 thousand vehicles.

LCV production has also grown in the same period, by 3,6% to 60,3 thousand units.

Truck production, including light trucks, has risen by 12,2% by the end of the first seven months of 2017, amounting to 78,3 thousand units. The production of foreign brand trucks in Russia went up by 72,8% to 11,9 thousand units.

Bus production, including minibuses, has increased by 7,7% during the aforementioned period, with 20,5 thousand units.

As stated by Rosstat, Industrial production has risen 1,9%  year-on-year in Russia within the January-August 2017 period, compared to the same period of 2016. Industrial production has risen by 1,9% year-on-year in Russia in August 2017 and by 2% in comparison with July 2017.
