Lifan will launch the sales of two new models in Russia in 2018

RNS – Chinese car manufacturer Lifan will start the sales of the new 7-seater MPV (minivan) – as known under the name of Xuanlang in China – alongside the second generation of the X60 crossover in Russia during the first half of 2018, as told by the Executive Director of Lifan International: Sun Tsejun.

“This year, all Lifan MPVs new models in the Russian market will probably be available in Russia, most likely within the first half of 2018. In my opinion, the next generation of X60 will be on the market by mid-year”.

The sales of Murman started in July 2017 and Myway crossover on 9 September. Lifan sales have shrunk by 6% in Russia, according to the Association of European Businesses data, to 9000 units.

Lifan prices have risen by 10% in 2017 and Tsejun does not rule out any further increases in the future. “There was an increase prices of 10%. A little more adjustment is possible until the end of the year by 2-3%. All depends on the circumstances” – said Tsejun. 16,000 vehicles will be sold in Russia in 2017, according to the executive director.
