Nokian Tyres will invest €55 million in its Vsevolozhsk plant in 2017

Interfax – Finnish tyre manufacturer Nokian Tyres plans to increase the annual production capacity of its factory in Vsevolozhsk in Leningrad Region from 15 million tyres to 17 million, as told by the general director of the company in Russia: Andrei Pantyuhov to journalists at the ceremony marking the production of the 100 millionth tyre on Tuesday.

The company will invest €55 million in the development of the production site in Leningrad Region this year, a significant part of which will be spent on the establishment of the 14th production line.

The installation of equipment on the line for full-fledged operations is planned to be completed within two months, Pantyuhov said. The construction of a warehouse for finished products and the expansion of a rubber mixing workshop are also within the plans of the company.
