Russian LCV market has grown by 6,6% in September 2017

Autostat – The Russian LCV market has amounted to 8157 units in September, following an 6,6% year-on-year growth, according to Autostat data.

The traditional leader of the market GAZ has kept its position, with approximately 47% share in total. GAZ has sold 3855 vehicles, which is equivalent to a 14,2% year-on-year rise.

UAZ occupies the second place, reaching a sales figure of 1223 units (-20.9% y/y). In September the top-three is completed for the first time by Ford (710 units, +72,7% y/y). Mercedes-Benz (594, 0,0% y/y) and Lada (545, -23,1% y/y) came fourth and fifth respectively.

The Russian LCV market has reached 75.143 units by the end of the first nine months of the year, indicating a 20,4% year-on-year increase.
