GAZ Group will supply GAZelle NEXT school buses to Ghana

RusAutoNews.Com – GAZ Group and the Ghanaian Ministry of Education have signed a memorandum on cooperation for the renewal of the school buses fleet of the country, as stated by GAZ Group press office.

According to the document, GAZ Group will become a key strategic partner of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Ghana in the renewal of the country’s school buses. The sides have agreed on cooperation in the development of the supply of the school buses on the basis of GAZelle NEXT minibuses, GAZelle NEXT Cityline frames and PAZ buses, the organisation of after-sales services and warranty maintenance in the territory of the Republic of Ghana.

The school bus fleet is updated in Ghana within the frame of the state project on the renewal of public transport. The first stage of the programme, aimed at the replacement of more than 500 minibuses in the country, will be implemented by the Ministry of Education within the next five years.

GAZ Group exports equipment to more than 40 countries in the world, represented by local partners in promotion, sales and after-sales services in five key regions – Africa, Latin America, Asia, Europe and the Middle-East.
