Russian component exports of Renault up by 119% to $61.3 million

RusAutoNews.Com – The Russian component exports of Renault Russia have risen by 119% year-on-year by the end of the first three quarters of 2017, to $61.3 million, as reported by the company press office.

“The turnover of Russian components exports made by Renault Group has amounted to €53 million within the first three quarters of 2017, following a 119% growth in comparison with the same period of the previous year. The growth was due to the increase in volumes, as well as the expansion of the range of the supplied car components and spare parts in the existing areas” – according to the company statement.

The company exports a total number of 191 items of car components, including stamping parts, plastic parts, brake system and chassis components and lighting devices. Eurasia and Europe (56% of supplies) and Latin America (21%) are the main Russian component exports destinations.

The supply of welded and painted car bodies to Algeria is one of the largest export projects. More than 11,500 bodies have been shipped to the country within the scope of the project during the first nine months of the year.

As one may remember, Ford Sollers have begun the Russian component exports to the Ford plant in Romania, where the production of EcoSport started in October this year,  reported by RusAutoNews.Com previously.
