GAZ Group will supply LiAZ buses to Kazakhstan

RusAutoNews.Com – GAZ Group has signed a contract for the supply of 265 low-floor LiAZ buses to Kazakhstan, reported by the company press office. Modern comfortable buses, equipped with air conditioning systems, external and internal CCTV surveillance cameras, passenger counting systems and auto-informers will be delivered to the country. The buses are created within the framework of the Affordable Urban Environment programme, the distinctive feature of the models being the low floor levels for the convenience of elderly people and passengers with baggies. The LiAZ buses are equipped with a mechanical ramp and a place for fastening a wheelchair for disabled passengers. Economic diesel engines manufactured in Yaroslavl Engine Plant of GAZ Group are installed in the LiAZ buses.

GAZ Group plays an active role in the utilisation of the public transport fleet of Kazakhstan. The company has supplied the country with 15 Kursor LF, 40 LiAZ-5256 and 234 GAZ brand buses since the beginning of 2017. More than 650 GAZ Group buses will have been added on the bus fleet of Kazakhstan by the end of the year.

The supplies to Almaty include four models of 75 to 184 passenger carrying capacity LiAZ buses from the Likino Bus Plant.
