Russian LCV market has grown 10% in October 2017

Autostat – The Russian LCV market has amounted to 9817 units in October, following an 10,4% year-on-year growth, according to Autostat data (LCV: Light Commercial Vehicle).

The traditional leader of the market GAZ has kept its position, with more than 40% market share in total. GAZ has sold 4179 vehicles, which is equivalent to a 2,2% year-on-year rise.

UAZ occupies the second place, reaching a sales figure of 1488 units (-8,4% y/y). In October the top-three is completed by Ford (1126 units, +124,3% y/y). Lada (943, -15,8% y/y) and Mercedes-Benz (748, +28,3% y/y) came fourth and fifth respectively.

Gazelle Next was the best-selling truck model in October with 2309 units followed by Ford Transit (973 units) and GAZ 3302 (950 units).

The Russian LCV market has reached 84.975 units by the end of the first ten months of the year, indicating a 19,2% year-on-year increase.
