Autostat – Russian truck market has grown in October 2017. According to Autostat data, 7932 new trucks have been sold in Russia in October 2017, following an increase of 60,2% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.
KAMAZ has kept the leadership of the Russian truck market, with 30% share in total in October. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2368 units, which indicates a 31,5% year-on-year rise. The leader is followed by Volvo, with 759 vehicles (+303,7% y/y). The top-three is completed by GAZ with 646 units (+21,2% y/y). Mercedes-Benz (636 units, +160,7%) and Scania (529, +65,8%) are the remaining brands of the top-five.
Russian truck market has amounted to 61.115 units by the end of the first ten months of 2017, following a 49,4% year-on-year growth.
Volvo FH was the best-selling truck model in October with 633 units followed by Mercedes-Benz Actros (579 units) and Kamaz 6520 (509 units).
