Car imports to Russia fell by 4% during January-October period of 2017

RusAutoNews.Com – As reported by Autostat, passenger car imports to Russia fell by 4,4% during January-October period of 2017, to 210 thousand vehicles, according to Russian Federal Customs House data. The monetary value of automobiles imported to Russia within the aforementioned period amounted to $5,33 billion. 197 thousand vehicles have been imported from non-CIS countries  at the worth of $5,24 billion and 13 thousand from CIS countries for $93 million.

Car exports increased during January-October period of 2017 by 28.4%  to 70 thousand units, at a total monetary value of $1,11 billion. 29,4 thousand of these vehicles were exported to non-CIS countries for $547,2 million and 40,7 thousand units to CIS countries for $562,7 million.
