Chevrolet Camaro has broken a sales record in Russia

Autostat – The 200th sixth generation Chevrolet Camaro coupe has been sold in Russia in 2017. This is an absolute record in the sales of the model since its introduction to the Russian market in 2012, as reported by the press office of GM Russia.

The sports car is equipped with a 2.0-litre, 238 hp turbo engine, which allows the vehicle to accelerate to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds. In Russia, Chevrolet Camaro is available in a 2LT version with an RS package, which consists of a power hatch, 8 airbags, the Brembo brake system, a remote engine start system, dual-zone climate control, front seats with ventilation and heating, heated steering wheel, driver’s seat adjustment in 8 directions, the memory package of the settings of the seat and mirrors.

Chevrolet Camaro has evolved to six generations, since its creation in 1966. The 50th Anniversary Edition has been launched as a special series marking the 50th year of the model, featuring a proprietary radiator grille with chrome satin accents, orange front brake calipers, an exclusive leather trimmed interior with suede inserts and orange stitching, and a special dashboard, backrest, steering wheel, as well as interior louvers with backlighting. The last examples of the limited edition vehicle are still available in some of the dealers of the brand.
