LADA sales have increased by 17% in 2017 in Russia

RusAutoNews.Com – LADA sales have increased by 17% in 2017 in Russia. As reported by the Avtovaz press office, a total number of 311,588 vehicles have been sold in Russia in 2017, which is equivalent to a 17% year-on-year rise. The company estimates that the growth rate in LADA sales will be superior to the overall automobile market in 2017. As predicted by the company, Avtovaz will keep its position as the leader of the Russian car and LCV market with a share of 19.5% and will continue to lead the car market with 20.5% share.

According to the company, four LADA models  are amongst the top-ten bestsellers in Russia. LADA Granta occupies the second spot with a sales figure of 93,686 vehicles, following a 6.8% increase. The sales of LADA Vesta have risen by 40.1% to 77,291 units. LADA Vesta SW and LADA Vesta SW Cross sales are included in this figure with a total sum of 5518 automobiles. LADA Largus (car and LCV models) has enjoyed a stable demand in 2017, with a sales figure of 41,741 units. LADA XRAY was the model with the biggest year-on-year improvement in sales in 2017 with more than 67% increase, to 33,319 vehicles.

LADA sales in foreign markets (30 countries) have risen by 31% in 2017, to 24,000 automobiles.
