Russian LCV market has kept the sixth spot in European rankings in 2017

Autostat – Despite a double-digit growth last year, Russian LCV market has remained on the sixth place in the European rankings in 2017.

According to Association of European Car Manufacturers data, LCV sales have increased by 3,9% in Europe in 2017, to 2.065.489 units. France has kept its position as the leader of the market of LCVs up to 3,5 tonnes, with a sales figure of 437.415 units (+7,1% y/y). The second place is occupied by Great Britain with 362.149 vehicles (-3,6% y/y) and third by Germany with 270.694 units (+4,9% y/y). Spain came fourth with 199.101 vehicles (+15,5% y/y). Italy completed the top-five with 193.533 vehicles (-3,4% y/y).

Occupying the sixth spot, Russian LCV market has remained just outside the top-five in the Europe. According to Autostat data, LCV sales have amounted to 108.437 units in Russia in 2017 (+16,7% y/y).
