KAMAZ sales have risen by 11% in 2017

Vedomosti – KAMAZ sales have risen by 10,8% in 2017. The company has sold 38.159 vehicles in 2017, as written in the KAMAZ’s Russian Accounting Standards quarterly report. The sales of the manufacturer amounted to 34.432 trucks, according to the 2016 annual report. Thereby, the sales have increased by 10,8% last year.

KAMAZ has sold 33.121 trucks in Russia in 2017 (17,4% growth), the figure being the sum of 32.330 over 14-tonnes gross weight vehicles and 791 medium-size trucks, between 8-14 tonnes. The share of the manufacturer in heavy trucks segment has reached 45,2% in 2017 (according to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate data). The share of the company in medium-weight trucks amounted to 5,4% in Russia in 2017, on the other hand.

The report also states that a total number of 61.500 over 14 tonnes gross weight vehicles have been sold in Russia (registration data), which indicates a 53,1% year-on-year rise.

5038 cars and assembly kits have been exported in 2017 (3746 assembled vehicles and 1292 SKD), which is equivalent to a 19% year-on-year shrinkage. 2323 vehicles and 1246 SKD have been sent to CIS countries and 1423 and 46 units respectively to non-CIS countries.

The 2018 business plan of the company states 43.100 car sales; 37.000 home sales and 6100 exports.
