Russian LCV market has grown 12% in January 2018

Autostat – The Russian LCV market has amounted to 6907 units in January 2018, following an 12% year-on-year growth, according to Autostat data (LCV: Light Commercial Vehicle).

The traditional leader of the market GAZ has kept its position, with more than 44% market share in total in January 2018. GAZ has sold 3029 vehicles, which is equivalent to a 8,2% year-on-year rise.

UAZ occupies the second place, reaching a sales figure of 1416 units (+2,4% y/y). In January the top-three is completed by LADA (621 units, +45,8% y/y). Ford (502, +48,5% y/y) and Mercedes-Benz (464, +16,5% y/y) came fourth and fifth respectively.

Gazelle Next was the best-selling LCV model in January with 1712 units followed by UAZ 3909 (735 units, +5,2% y/y) and GAZ 3302 (542 units, -15,2%).
