Russian LCV market has grown 9% in February 2018

Autostat – The Russian LCV market has amounted to 7770 units in February 2018, following an 9,3% year-on-year growth, according to Autostat data (LCV: Light Commercial Vehicle).

The traditional leader of the market GAZ has kept its position, with more than 46,5% market share in total in February 2018. GAZ has sold 3610 vehicles, which is equivalent to a 14,2% year-on-year rise.

UAZ occupies the second place, reaching a sales figure of 1171 units (-24,3% y/y). In February the top-three is completed by Ford (747 units, +92,0% y/y). Lada (698, +4,3% y/y) and Mercedes-Benz (636, +23,0% y/y) came fourth and fifth respectively.

Gazelle Next was the best-selling LCV model in February with 2022 units followed by GAZ 3302 (796 units, +12% y/y) and Ford Transit (687 units, +77,1%).
