Russian truck market has increased by 40% in February 2018

Autostat –  Russian truck market has kept growing in February 2018. According to Autostat data, 6030 new trucks have been sold in Russia in February 2018, following an increase of 39,5% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.

KAMAZ has kept the leadership of the Russian truck market, with 33,7% share in total in February. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2033 units, which indicates a 19,7% year-on-year rise. The leader is followed by GAZ, with 648 vehicles (+26,8% y/y). The top-three is completed by Volvo with 461 units (+77,3% y/y).  MAN (398 units, +131,4%) and Scania (396, +84,2%) are the remaining brands of the top-five.

KAMAZ 43118 was the best-selling truck model in February 2018 with 538 units (+8,7% y/y) followed by GAZON Next (452 units, +59,7% y/y) and Volvo FH (337 units, +95,9% y/y).
