Russian LCV market has grown 8% in March 2018

Autostat – The Russian LCV market has amounted to 10.728 units in March 2018, following an 7,6% year-on-year growth, according to Autostat data (LCV: Light Commercial Vehicle).

The traditional leader of the market GAZ has kept its position, with more than 47% market share in total in March 2018. GAZ has sold 5029 vehicles, which is equivalent to a 27,7% year-on-year rise.

UAZ occupies the second place, reaching a sales figure of 1523 units (-42,7% y/y). In March the top-three is completed by Ford (1081 units, +99,8% y/y). Lada (1069, +13,2% y/y) and Mercedes-Benz (785, -13,1% y/y) came fourth and fifth respectively.

Gazelle Next was the best-selling LCV model in March 2018 with 2998 units (+37,9% y/y) followed by GAZ 3302 (1074 units, +17,5% y/y) and Ford Transit (1009 units, +86,9%).
