Russian truck market has increased by 50% in March 2018

Autostat –  Russian truck market has kept growing in February 2018. According to Autostat data, 8330 new trucks have been sold in Russia in March 2018, following an increase of 50,3% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.

KAMAZ has kept the leadership of the Russian truck market, with 32% share in total in March. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2684 units, which indicates a 47,8% year-on-year rise. The leader is followed by GAZ, with 791 vehicles (+26,6% y/y). The top-three is completed by Volvo with 647 units (+75,3% y/y).  SCANIA (614 units, +61,2%) and MAN (533, +113,2%) are the remaining brands of the top-five.

KAMAZ 43118 was again the best-selling truck model in March 2018 with 668 units (+41,2% y/y) followed by  KAMAZ 5490 (549 units, +130,7% y/y) and GAZON Next (536 units, +37,1% y/y).
