The prices of Ravon cars have increased due to the new utilisation fees

NAPI Info – Uzbek car manufacturer Ravon has increased prices on its entire model range in Russia. The company has related the price rise to the increased utilisation fees in the country as of 1 April 2018.

The utilisation fees for cars with engine volumes of 1 to 2 litres have gone up by 90%. Ravon automobiles fall into that category, with 1.25 and 1.5 litre engines, which are manufactured at GM Uzbekistan facilities (joint venture of General Motors and the Uzbek state company Uzavtosanoat) and exported to Russia.

Price rises between 10,000 to 30,000 rubles have been applied to the vehicles. The price of Ravon Gentra sedan, for example, went up by 10,000 rubles to 569,000. The cost of the compact hatchback R2 and Nexia sedan rose by 20,000 rubles, to 489,000 and 499,000 rubles respectively. R4 is sold for 10-30,000 rubles more now, depending on components. The current prices of the model start from 529,000 rubles.
