The Russian luxury car sales fell by 5% within the first quarter of 2018

Autostat  – The luxury car sales in Russia amounted to 331 vehicles within the first quarter of 2018, indicating a 5,4% year-on-year decrease (down from 350 units).

Mercedes-Benz has remained the leader of the market with more than 60% market share. The brand is represented by one model only: Mercedes-Benz Maybach S-Class. 201 Maybach S-Class have been sold in January-March period of 2018.

Bentley comes second in the rankings, with a sales figure of 56 vehicles. Maserati completes the top-three in the luxury segment with 55 units. 13 new Rolls-Royce, 3 Lamborghini, 2 Ferrari and 1 Aston Martin vehicles have hit the Russian roads within the first quarter of 2018, on the other hand.

As noted by Autostat, around 2/3 of the luxury automobiles have been sold in Moscow and the surrounding region in the first quarter (241 units). The capital is followed by St. Petersburg – 28 units, Krasnodar Krai – 5 vehicles and Kemerovo – 4 units.
