Russian LCV market has grown 8% in April 2018

Autostat – The Russian LCV market has amounted to 10.548 units in April 2018, following an 8,3% year-on-year growth, according to Autostat data (LCV: Light Commercial Vehicle).

The traditional leader of the market GAZ has kept its position, with more than 45% market share in total in April 2018. GAZ has sold 4702 vehicles, which is equivalent to a 15,6% year-on-year rise.

UAZ occupies the second place, reaching a sales figure of 1360 units (-44,4% y/y). In April the top-three is completed by LADA (1093 units, +13,3% y/y). Ford (950, +89,2% y/y) and Mercedes-Benz (854, +16,0% y/y) came fourth and fifth respectively.

Gazelle Next was the best-selling LCV model in April 2018 with 2834 units (+27,3% y/y) followed by GAZ 3302 (993 units, -3,0% y/y) and Ford Transit (904 units, +85,2%).
