Russian truck market has increased by 10% in May 2018

Autostat –  Russian truck market has kept growing in May 2018. According to Autostat data, 6109 new trucks have been sold in Russia in May 2018, following an increase of 9,6% in comparison with the same period of the previous year.

KAMAZ has kept the leadership of the Russian truck market, with 30% share in total in May. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 1914 units, which indicates a 2,7% year-on-year rise. The leader is followed by GAZ, with 630 vehicles (-8,6% y/y). The top-three is completed by Volvo with 542 units (+41,1% y/y).  Scania (505 units, +41,1%) and MAN (385, +42,6%) are the remaining brands of the top-five.

KAMAZ 5490 was the best-selling truck model in May 2018 with 522 units (+84,5% y/y) followed by  KAMAZ 43118 (501 units, +24,6% y/y) and GAZON Next (424 units, -2,8% y/y).
