Luxury car sales fell by 1% in August 2018

 

Autostat. – The Russian luxury car market has reached 118 units in August 2018, following a 1% year-on-year fall.

The traditional leader of the market Mercedes-Benz Maybach S-Class has kept its position, with 49% share in total. The sales figure of the model is equivalent to 58 units in August.

Maserati comes second in the rankings, with a sales figure of 23 vehicles. Bentley and Lamborgini completes the top-three in the luxury segment with 14 units each.

5 new Rolls-Royce, 1 Ferrari and 1 Aston Martin cars have hit the Russian roads in August, on the other hand.

Around 60% of the Russian luxury car market have been sold in Moscow and the surrounding region – 82 units. The capital is followed by St. Petersburg – 13 units and Krasnodar Krai – 4 units,  Primorsky Krai, Sverdlovsk and Tula regions – 2 luxury cars each.

The Russian luxury car market has reached 936 units within January-August period of 2018, following a 1.5% year-on-year decrease.
