ZMZ has received industrial park status

RusAutoNewsCom. – The Russian Ministry of Industry and Commerce has given the Zavolzhsky Engine Factory the status of industrial park, as reported by the manufacturer. The new status will provide a number of benefits for investors, along with the further development of the industrial park of the company. ZMZ has become the first industrial enterprise in Nizhny Novgorod region, receiving the status of industrial park.

ZMZ has been implementing a strategy to establish an industrial park on its production site since 2012. The first agreement, proposing the sale of the Building №6 to German LEONI, which manufactures automotive wiring harnesses, has been signed in March 2012.

Already, there are as much as 14 companies, making production at ZMZ Industrial Park. Approximately 2000 new jobs have been created at the site. Agreements have been signed with five manufacturers as current residents: UAZ (production of engines and automotive components), RosALit (cast bars), Daido Metal Rus (plain bearings), Knorr-Bremse (car components-machining) and Project Module (model equipment and machining).

A range of infrastructural services are provided to the companies operating in the industrial area: heating, water, electricity, repairs and technical maintenance of communications and year-round maintenance of territories. The structure of the provision of infrastructural services to the residents of ZMZ Industrial Park has been constantly developing since 2012.
