RosALit will start delivering parts to Volvo truck plant in Kaluga

 

RusAutoNewsCom. As announced by Sollers press office, RosALit aluminium casting plant, has passed the audit on the production of parts, organised by the Russian division of Volvo Group. The company will deliver the first party of its production to Volvo truck plant in Kaluga within December – transmission covers.

“The development of the projects on the localisation of the production of parts and components is one of the key tasks of Volvo in the Russian market. RosALit factory is one of the leading metallurgical enterprises in Russia in the production of high-pressure aluminium parts, possessing the necessary equipment and technology for the production of large-sized aluminium parts” – said the Volvo Group power line components purchasing specialist.

The first serial deliveries of the transmission covers to Volvo truck plant in Kaluga are planned for 2019.

RosALit, part of Sollers Holding, is specialized in the production of large-sized aluminum parts for the automotive industry. Zavolzhsky and Ulyanovsk automobile factories are the largest clients of the enterprise. RosALit has been supplying large Russian and foreign companies for a few years. The major international partners of the company include Ford, which orders cylinder blocks, cylinder heads and brackets and another large European customer ZF Kama, for the production of gearbox housings.
