Russian truck market has declined by 5% in November 2018

 

RusAutoNewsCom.- Russian truck market has declined 5% in November 2018 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat data, 8,154 new trucks have been sold in Russia in November 2018.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the Russian truck market, with 28.4% share in total in November. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2,319 units, which indicates a 16.1% year-on-year fall. The leader is followed by Scania, with 827 vehicles. The top-three is completed by GAZ with 716 units. Volvo has the fourt place in the rankings with 645 units. MAN at the fifth place with 634 units sold, indicating 50.6% year-on-year rise.

Kamaz 43118 was the best-selling truck model in November 2018 with 545 units and 6.7% year-on-year fall, followed by Gazon Next with 494 units. The top-three is completed by Mercedes-Benz Actros with 435 units sold.

72,824 new trucks have been sold in Russia within the first eleven months of 2018, which indicates a 4.5% year-on-year growth.
