Russian truck market has declined 5% in February 2019

RusAutoNewsCom. – Russian truck market has declined 5.1% in February 2019 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat 5,724 new trucks have been sold in Russia in February.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the Russian truck market, with more than 40% share in total in February. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2,450 units, which indicates a 20.5% year-on-year rise.

The leader is followed by GAZ with 585 vehicles and 9.7% year-on-year fall. The top-three is completed by Volvo with 377 units and 18.6% year-on-year fall. Scania has the fourth place in the rankings with 365 units and 8.1% year-on-year fall. Ural has the fifth place with 308 units and 10.8% year-on-year rise.

Kamaz 5490 was the best-selling truck model in February 2019 with 667 units and 137.4% year-on-year rise, followed by Kamaz 43118 with 522 units and 3.3% year-on-year fall. The top-three is completed by Kamaz 65115 with 401 units, which indicates a 25.3% year-on-year rise.

Volvo FH was the best-selling foreign model in February with 293 units sold.
