Russian truck market has declined 6% in March 2019

RusAutoNewsCom. – Russian truck market has declined 5.5% in March 2019 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat 6,683 new trucks have been sold in Russia in March.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the Russian truck market, with more than 37% share in total in March. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 2,497 units, which indicates a 7.3% year-on-year rise.

The leader is followed by GAZ with 763 vehicles and 15.8% year-on-year rise. The top-three is completed by Volvo with 582 units and 7.6% year-on-year growth. Scania has the fourth place in the rankings with 391 units and 21.3% year-on-year fall. MAN has the fifth place with 375 units and 20.2% year-on-year fall.

Kamaz 43118 was the best-selling truck model in March 2019 with 636 units and 9.3% year-on-year rise.

Volvo FH was the best-selling foreign model in March with 339 units sold.
