30 thousand cars have been sold within the framework of the demand stimulation programmes during the first quarter


 

Autostat.- 29,719 automobiles have been sold within the framework of the demand stimulation programmes during the first quarter of the year. The relevant statement has been made by the Deputy Minister of Industry and Commerce: Alexander Morozov.

11,338 vehicles have been purchased under the Family Car programme and 8106 under the First Car programme. Both programmes are being implemented in Russian Federation since 1 March 2019.

5865 vehicles have been sold within the scope of the Own Business programme, 2667 under Russian Tractor and the remaining 1743 under Preferential Leasing, on the other hand.

The Ministry of Industry and Commerce had previously announced the minimum planned sales figure under First and Family programmes as 27,000 units. Following calculations, the experts have come to the conclusion that more than 70% of the planned figure has already been achieved as of March. Therefore, the aforementioned sales volume may be fulfilled in April.
