Uzbek Ravon automobiles will be assembled in Russia

Rossiyskaya Gazeta.- The assembly production project of Ravon automobiles at Derways factory in Cherkessk has been approved within the framework of the economic cooperation with Uzbekistan. The relevant statement has been made by the head of Karachai-Cherkessk Republic: Rashid Temrezov during a meeting of the local MPs.

“The factory plans to launch the assembly production project of Ravon cars in the second half of the year” – Temrezov said, as published by the official website of the republic’s administration.

Temrezov has stated that the factory is currently dealing with the certification process of production. As one may remember, the facility remained idle since 2018, when the owners faced a number of legal inquiries, as a result of which, the production of large companies such as Lifan and Chery was interrupted in Cherkessk.
