Russian truck market has fallen by 18% in May 2019

RusAutoNewsCom. – Russian truck market has declined 17.8% in May 2019 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. According to Autostat 5,023 new trucks have been sold in Russia in May.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the market, with 30% share in total. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 1,492 units, which indicates a 22.2% year-on-year fall.

The leader is followed by GAZ with 540 vehicles and 14.4% year-on-year fall. The top-three is completed by Volvo with 441 units and 18.8% year-on-year fall.

Kamaz 65115 was the best-selling model in May 2019 with 418 units and 17.7% year-on-year rise.

Volvo FH was the best-selling foreign model in May with 306 units sold.
