Russian truck market has declined by 6% within the first half of 2019

RusAutoNewsCom. – Russian truck market has declined 5.8% year-on-year within the January – June period of 2019. According to Autostat, 35,691 new trucks have been sold in Russia within the aforementioned period.

Kamaz has kept the leadership of the market, with more than 35% share in total. The sales figure of the brand is equivalent to 12,778 units, which indicates a 6.3% year-on-year rise.

The leader is followed by GAZ with 3744 vehicles and 5.5% year-on-year fall. The top-three is completed by Volvo with 3242 units and 15.3% year-on-year fall.

Kamaz 43118 was the best-selling model within the first half of 2019 with 2994 units and 6% year-on-year fall. Volvo FH was the best-selling foreign model with 2745 units sold.

Russian truck market has declined 8.6% in June 2019 in comparison with the same period of the previous year. 6,147 new trucks have been sold in Russia in June. Kamaz-5490 was the best-selling model with 517 units.
