JAC Motors plans to sell electric vehicles in Russia


 

Autostat.- JAC Motors plans to launch its model iEV7S in the Russian market during the 2020-2021 period. As one may remember, the Russian premier of the model took place at Moscow Motor Show 2018.

The electric crossover iEV7S is manufactured at Saryarka AvtoProm factory in Kazakhstan. The model is equipped with a system of liquid cooling/heating battery. The battery capacity of the model has been increased from 33 to 39 kW/h, which pushed up the power reserve to 280 km.

Three Kazakh assembly JAC Motors models are currently available in Russia: S3 and S5 crossovers and the new T6 pickup, which was put on the market on September 1. S4 and S7 crossovers will be added to the Russian model range of JAC in 2020.
